Entrepreneurship cum skill development cell is functioning under State Government fund. The aim of the cell is to develop the students to get employability or to become self employed/ an entrepreneur.
To achieve the aim of employability,
the cell offers Tally ERP (9.0) certificate course to the students of all disciplines which is much demanded among the corporate employers training to face competitive exam (Short cut techniques for Numerical ability) preparation of Electronic circuit models to Physics final students The aim that the students should be self employed is achieved through the provision of various skill training
Skill training is provided in the areas of
Mushroom cultivation Domestic cleaning agents preparation Food processing Arts and crafts (Pot painting, artificial ornaments and so on) Beautician Apiculture Low Cost Kitchen Gardening Business Plan Writing Cut Flower Growing and Napkin Preparation

Also as per the specification of the Government, it also Trains the Faculty (Training of Trainers / Faculty Development Programme) in Entrepreneurship concepts for 5 days viz Entrepreneurship, schemes available for Entrepreneurship, Business Plan Writing, Funding agencies, Meeting successful entrepreneurs, sills needed for women entrepreneurs and so on.
The cell organises Industrial visits regularly to the final year students to inculcate the entrepreneurial traits and arranged during the visit skill training, marketing strategy, success secrets of the industrialist.
The skill training during the visit given are:
a) Cheese Preparation,
b) Vermi composting
c) Bio Gas from Cow dung
d) Extraction of Banana Fibre
e) Crafts from Sea shell
f) coir making
g) Paper cup preparation and
h) Juice, Jam, Pickle, Pappad preparation

In addition the Cell organised seminar on contemporary issues vIz Business Intelligence Tools for Women Entrepreneurs , the cell conducted Competition among MBA and M.Com final year students on How to prepare Business Plan Proposal and awarded the students with Prizes.
The students are given hand manuals for the respective skill training Material for Entrepreneurship is also prepared for students to guide them in various aspects of Entrepreneurship
