ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Department of Mathematics was established in 2005. The department offers M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. program in Mathematics. In Mathematics department, the Ramanujan Club has been regularly organized various activities as National/International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, TNPSC, UGC SLET/ NET coaching, are given to the students to face administrative and academic job opportunities. Students are motivated to study on line courses, and Digital learning process to enrich their subject knowledge in current technology. Students are getting mental and physical wealth through yoga, sports in supportive departments. Apart from Kodaikanal in our University research and extension Campus Chennai and Coimbatore M.Sc. Mathematics program is available. Department continues its contribution both in academic and research activities in pure and applied Mathematics, students in PG level itself is motivated to publish their innovative research papers in National/International journals. State Government scholarships are given to all eligible students in M.Sc and M.Phil Mathematics. Ph.D scholars are availing state government SC/ST scholarship.
